Dear Veterans
Are you not amused with behavior of some of veterans whose main task is only bashing of UFESM/IESM, Col Inderjit Singh, Gen Satbir and Gp Capt Gandhi? I wish they do some constructive work for Ex-servicemen rather than cribbing about the work done by IESM/UFESM.
UFESM has been organizing RHS under the chairmanship of Col Inderjit singh, father of OROP, since last 115 days. It is for information of all that ESM are coming from 21 states of India to sit on RHS and show their solidarity and confidence in leadership of Col Inderjit Singh, Gen Satbir Singh and GB members of IESM. ESM wives, children have been volunteering to sit on RHS. 15 ESM had even observed indefinite hunger strike for approval of full OROP as per definition. These are all heroes whose name will go in history that they fought for OROP and welfare of ESM. UFESM is providing admin support for the agitation and its office bearers are leading by example that includes Col Inderjit Singh, Gen Satbir singh, GB members and other volunteers.
Somebody has to be really naive to think that ESM have been contributing funds without knowing the truth of the agitation and standing of the organizers. NDA courses and regiments have been visiting JM in support of RHS to boost their morale and are contributing with open heart into IESM account to offset expenditure being incurred for agitation at JM. One can understand the frustration of few ESM who have gone to the extent of extreme lies and announced that new cars are being purchased from the contribution of ESM. Their only intention is to show their crab mentality and to pull down those who are working for welfare of ESM family. The funds contributed at JM are properly recorded and accounted for . These will be put up for scrutiny of members and are available at JM for any veteran to examine. No new car has been purchased by any member of IESM/UFESM. This is the product of malicious brainwave of some ESM who were never permitted to join IESM. These ESM have put even Goebble to shame with their lies. It is surprising that even some ESM who were instrumental in getting IESM bank account blocked have also joined this group to defame the agitation at JM. Everyone will understand that the hidden agenda was to deprive the organizers of funds with ultimate aim of failure of the agitation.
Even today Col Inderjit Singh and IESM have not permitted these ESM to be part of UFESM. One wonders as to what is aim of these ESM, are they interested in OROP for all or are they ready to sell welfare of ESM to gain some favors and popularity with Govt?
It is for information of all that OROP agitation is being run by AIEWA, AIVA and IESM and its associate association in India. UFESM is thankful to these associations and their leaders for helping us whole heartedly to run the agitation and to put pressure on Govt.
This agitation is running at JM for last 115 days under the flag of UFESM with the blessing of Chairman Col Inderjit Singh, Gen Satbir Singh and GB members of IESM and AIVA members. No group R no group has the right to claim ownership of UFESM, especially those who have never participated in this agitation. Col Inderjit Singh and Gen Satbir Singh are the undisputed leaders of UFESM and agitation at JM.
Nobody can hide the truth. Truth will always shine like sun above darkness of lies.
OROP has been announced on 5 Sep 15 by RM in presence of three Chiefs. Govt is calling it full OROP to mislead the nation. Big advertisements in leading newspapers have also been placed by Govt. This is the way to control media houses!! Whereas the fact is that the announced OROP has seven serious anomalies and if it is implemented in its present form, it will dilute the definition of OROP and hence it cannot be called OROP. It will be only one time increase which MOD had been giving in past and calling it OROP. Let us not get mislead with this announcement. This is not OROP and our struggle for OROP at JM will continue and will be intensified. We will approach SC if required.
You are all aware that SC bar association and Sh Ram Jethamalani have agreed to fight our case pro bono.
RM has announced in Goa that OROP letter may be issued before Navratri. First navratra starts on 13 Oct 15, hence some news may come by 10 Oct just before first round of Bihar poll starting on 12 Oct 15.
Gentlemen if we get full OROP it will be good for all.
But if Govt issues a GL which will dilute definition of OROP, it will not be acceptable to veterans. It will need to be fought strongly at JM and Courts. UFESM requests for your total support in this fight for justice and Izzat.
This peace had to be written to counter the malicious campaign of few disgruntled ESM.

1. This is to apprise you that UFESM was formed on 6/6/15 & was dissolved by the house on 9/9/15, unanimously. Gen Satbir never participated in it & was expelled from UFESM before dissolving. But he is still misusing the Name of UFESM & also Collecting funds for it.2. Col Nain had applied to get the UFESM Regd by then, so he claimed its ownership & reorg UFESM immediately wef 9/9/15. UFESM under Col Nain held its 1st mtg on 21/9/15, with full house 44 ESM Org at Delhi.3. This for the info & needful advise please. Gen Satbir gp must avoid misusing UFESM name banners & stop activities under this name immediately, please.4. Regarding depositing Medals, we do not agree with it. Rather, we are likely to request Govt to return our medals once OROP issue is settled.
